据韩媒报道，申台龙并不认为中国队踢得更好，他表示：“我们丢了两个球，输掉了比赛，这是不可原谅的。但我没想到中国队会踢‘屎球’（똥볼）。”据韩媒解释，“屎球”是韩国足球界对大脚长传的一种叫法。

申台龙还表示：“虽然我们输了，但印尼队表现出了最有竞争力的表现。”

当中国记者向他询问中国球员是否比印尼归化的欧洲球员表现更好时，申台龙表示：“大家都看到了，今天的比赛我们控球率7:3领先，我想下半场大概是8:2。总的来说，我们输了是因为我们没有进球运气。但我们在比赛的其余时间统治了中国队。下回合在主场我们会打出更好的比赛，争取获胜。”
